Travel through a beautiful wine-growing region of charming farming villages and picturesque landscapes enroute to Laufen. See the splendid medieval castle of Schloss Laufen and the mighty Rhine Falls and experience Europe’s biggest waterfall. Get unique views from the panoramic lift and discover what it looks like when an average of 700,000 liters of water per second plunges into the basin below. Next, take the Belvedere Trail to a viewing platform right above the falls. Feel the rumbling waters beneath you. If you are feeling adventurous, take the optional boat ride and experience the falls from below. Continue via Schaffhausen with its famous Munot Fortress. Soak up the views of the gently rolling vineyards and farming villages enroute to Stein am Rhein. Upon arrival, learn about the well-preserved old town during a stroll. See distinctive medieval buildings such as the church and former monastery of St. George’s Abbey. Look at the half-timber frame townhouses, along with the city gates and towers, the Town Hall, and the Armory. Admire the delicate wooden window frames of many of the buildings and marvel at their exceptional frescoes.

Arrival at Interlaken, transfer to the Hotel on your own and check in. Rest of the day at leisure. Interlaken is a traditional resort town in the mountainous Bernese Oberland region of central Switzerland. Built on a narrow stretch of valley, between the emerald-colored waters of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, it has old timber houses and parkland on either side of the Aare River. Its surrounding mountains, with dense forests, alpine meadows and glaciers, have numerous hiking and skiing trails. Overnight at the hotel in Interlaken.

Breakfast at the hotel. Using your Swiss Pass, proceed on an excursion to Mt Jungfraujoch on your own. Mt Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe, is the best place in Europe to discover a world of snow and ice. The cogwheel railway travels to Europe’s highest railway station every day of the year. The view and adventure platform at 3454 meters above sea level offers a breathtaking panorama with a majestic backdrop. You can depart from Interlaken Ost train station. The train departs every 30 minutes, and the departure time is freely selectable. Once at the top, simply follow the signs to the tour and you will not miss any highlights. To do the tour it takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. There are also restaurants on the Top of Europe and even a Snow Fun Park in summer, so calculate 6 to 8 hours for the whole trip. Breakfast at the hotel. Check out and transfer to the Interlaken Train Station on your own, to board the train to Lucerne. Arrival in Lucerne, transfer to the hotel on your own. Check in. Rest of the day at leisure to walk around and explore this lovely city or visit the Swiss Transport Museum, the IMAX Theatre or the Lion Monument, lake Lucerne cruise with Swiss Pass on your own. Stroll over the covered bridges, through the sunny plazas, past candy-coloured houses, and waterfront promenades. Lucerne is a stunning, gorgeous and romantic Swiss city – legend has it that an angel with a light showed the first settlers where to build a chapel in Lucerne, and today it still has amazing grace. Enjoy the dramatic explosion of gilt, marble and baroque frescoes that is the Jesuit Church. Overnight at the hotel in Lucerne.

Breakfast at the hotel. Using your Swiss Pass, proceed on an excursion to Mt Titlis on your own, in conjunction with your Swiss Pass. Mount Titlis – one of most visited experiential mountains in Switzerland – offers a plethora of exciting activities and adventures for all ages, and of course, amazing sights of the snow-capped mountain peaks, deep crevasses, and immaculate white, expansive snowfields. Embark on your memorable journey at Mount Titlis, where you experience breathtaking views of Alps as you ascend in Titlis ROTAIR – the world’s first revolving cable car. Walk on the Titlis Cliff Walk – Europe’s highest suspension bridge or get even closer to the mountains carpeted in snow in the Ice Flyer chair lift. Stroll in the Glacier Cave – home to painstakingly crafted ice sculptors or satiate your adrenaline-rush appetite by stepping in the Glacier Park. A day trip to Mt. Titlis is possible from either Lucerne or Zurich. From Lucerne reaching Mt. Titlis takes around 45 mins. Includes: Entrance to Mt Titlis, with swiss pass.
