Transfer to Halong Bay. After check-in and security briefings, you will set sail. Enjoy a typical local lunch in the dining room or at the outdoor dining area with stunning views of the Bay and its dramatic limestone islets as you sail through the calm emerald waters. Explore the bay on kayak or comfortably capture the daily life of the fishermen on bamboo boat rowed by the locals.

In the evening, enjoy an authentic Vietnamese dinner and relax or join some activities such as squid fishing.

Overnight on board the Cruise.

Greet the day with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay early morning. After breakfast, explore the Amazing Cave and join a short cooking demonstration to make spring rolls, before an early lunch. Back to the wharf. 

Transfer to Hanoi. Free time for shopping in the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi hotel.

Picked up at hotel to drive about 100 kms south to Hoa Lu, ancient capital of the Dinh and Le dynasties. Not much of the capital remains, but fortunately some of its ruins and tombs have survived for a millennium.

In the afternoon continue to nearby Tam Coc or Three Caves in Vietnamese, an area of natural beauty often referred to as Halong Bay on land. Board a small boat and meander lazily down the river to the ancient caves. See limestone karsts jutting skywards out of electric green rice paddies. Returning to the pier, your vehicle takes you back to Hanoi, arriving late afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi hotel.

After breakfast at hotel, start with Tran Quoc pagoda, a Buddhist relic and national heritage on the West Lake. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex and the stilted house, One Pillar pagoda, Ba Dinh square, President Palace (outside). Visit Temple of literature, the beautifully preserved temple dating back to 1070 that became the first university of Vietnam. Afternoon transfer to airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel. Free for the evening. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh hotel.

Transfer from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho, the town on the left side of the Mekong River. Take a sampan ride cruising Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands. Stop over at Unicorn, visit the fruit plantation to enjoy tropical fruits and folk music. Ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself to the beauty of the countryside, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop. 

In the afternoon, time for Tan Thach village to meet the villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and Free time in the evening.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight.
