Sightseeing of Old Delhi visiting the historic Red Fort (from outside), Shah Jahan’s elegant citadel in red sandstone, as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors. Very near the Fort is Masjid-i-Jahan Numa, commonly known as the Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), India’s largest mosque, also built by Shahjahan. Walk through the famous bazaars of Chandni Chowk. Also visit Raj Ghat – the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, a simple black marble platform that marks his cremation spot. 

In New Delhi, visit India Gate, the memorial of World War 1, Presidents’ House, which is flanked by the houses of Parliament; Government Secretariat buildings; Birla Temple, and Lotus Temple. Although the temple belongs to the Baha’i sect, it is open to people of all faiths.

The epitome of love and romance stands on the banks of river Yamuna. The architecture is highly inspired from different styles, which include Persian, Indian and Turkish.

After breakfast, drive to the outskirts of the city to visit Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the State until 1727, a great example of Rajput architecture with some influence of Moghul architecture. It has halls of Public and Private Audience and a Sheesh Mahal (hall of mirrors) or Jai Mandir. Visit the Temple of Kali and the City Palace – the former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles which houses a museum. Stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for a photo stop and famous Johari bazaar (famous for its jewels and saris). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. 

Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan located at the entrance to the Thar Desert in a region called Marwar. The old city, founded in 1459, is surrounded by a 10 km long wall. The massive Mehrangarh Fort overlooks the city and the red sandstone palaces within the fort form one of the most impressive complexes in Rajasthan. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur.

After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for city tour of Jodhpur starting from Mehrangarh Fort. One of the largest forts in India, the Mehrangarh fort is the pride of Jodhpur. The main palaces are Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Takht Vilas and Jhanki Mahal. A museum also finds a place inside the fort, displaying a rich collection of old royal palanquins, arms, paintings, costumes, etc. There are also several galleries and temples inside the fort. After breakfast, drive to Udaipur. 

Optional extra charge: Ranakpur Jain Temple: Often regarded as sheer poetry on marble this 15th century Adinath Jain temple is an architectural genius. The profuse and intricate carving on marble resembles lacework rather than stone carving. One of the other remarkable things about the temple is wonderful play of shadow and light on the nearly 1500 pillars. 

Continue your drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival check-in to your hotel. Udaipur was founded by Maharana Udai Singh in 1559 and became the capital of Mewar after the fall of Chittorgarh in 1567. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Udaipur.

Morning will start with a sightseeing tour of the city, visiting Jagdish Temple. Maharana Jagat Singh I built the Jagdish temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, in 1651. Visit Sahelion Ki Bari, the garden of maidens, built by Maharana Sangram Singh in the mid-18th century. Later explore the City Palace. A fusion of Medieval European and Chinese architecture, the City Palace was built by Maharaja Udai Singh. This marble monument is situated on the eastern banks of Lake Pichola.

After breakfast, drive to Pushkar. 

Optional extra charge: Visit to Chittorgarh Fort. Chittorgarh Fort is the largest fort in India and the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. The fort, plainly known as Chittor, was the capital of Mewar and is today situated several kilometres by road south of Bhilwara. It sprawls majestically over a hill 180 m (590.6 ft) in height spread over an area of 280 ha (691.9 acres) above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River. 

Continue your drive towards Pushkar. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. 

The village of Pushkar lies on the edge of the Thar Desert. At its heart is one of India’s most sacred Pushkar Lake. Apart from its religious significance, Pushkar is known for its ‘Cattle and Camel’ fair held every year in the festival month of Kartik (October and November). After breakfast, sightseeing tour of the city visiting temple of Lord Brahma ‘Creator of the world’ surrounded by Pushkar lake. Witness the devotees taking a dip into the holy waters and offering prayers on the banks of the lake. Also visit the Pushkar fair site, which is right opposite the Pushkar Lake. 

Later transfer to Ajmer railway station to board Shatabdi Express for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi railway station, transfer to the airport for the return flight.
