With a mix of vibrant city life to natural wonders, Auckland is a great place to start the journey. A beautiful scenic drive through Tamaki Drive coastal road takes you to Bastion Point for a scenic view of Auckland Harbour. Then proceed to the extinct volcanic crater Mt. Drop the car at Rotorua airport and fly to Queenstown. On arrival pick up the car, drive to accommodation and check-in.

Drive to Milford Sound (288 km, 4 hrs), once described by Rudyard Kipling as eighth natural wonder of the world. Take a scenic boat cruise (lunch box provided) soaking in the blue skies, rising steep cliffs out of the deep blue water, green mountains, cascading waterfalls and native wildlife – New Zealand’s wild side at its absolute best. Drive back to Queenstown (4 hrs).
