A land steeped in history with ancient architecture, majestic archaeological ruins and biblical sites – from 2000-year-old ‘lost city” of Petra carved from rose-red sandstone cliffs to legendary Lawrence of Arabia trail from Azraq to the magnificent deserts of Wadi Rum, Jordan will leave any history aficionados in awe.
If history wears you out, take a dip in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea, cruise along the Red Sea or just explore the vibrant nightlife in Amman with plenty of trendy bars. Enjoy some creative local delicacies such as Mansaf and experience the great hospitality of Jordanian people. As they say “Ahlan wa Sahlan” – come in and make yourself at home.
The best times to visit Jordan are in the spring (March – May) and autumn (September – November), when the days are warm but the nights are cool. This climate is pleasant for exploring as it’s not too hot as in the summers.
